I’ll be teaching a course in Boston on July 20 during the Archiving 2026 conference.
The course is called:

As it is: A Structured Method for the Objective Capture of Three Dimensional Objects
In this course, the method of objective capture of three-dimensional objects based on the Metamorfoze guidelines or ISO 19264-1 and the Correct Exposure Tool (CET) 357 will be explained in 4 different steps.

1: Camera calibration and profiling in a copy stand situation.
2: The profiled camera and its light source can be used in a different setting to make photos of three-dimensional objects.
3: Correct tonal capture can be measured and adjusted using CET 357.
4: If the tonal curve meets the OECF requirements, the color correction profile can be applied that was made for the camera and its light source in the copy stand situation.

With this methodology, each three-dimensional object can be captured as it is.
